Have You Slipped, Fallen Lately?

Have You Slipped, Fallen Lately?

The scripture for today is: "Thou hast enlarged my steps under me,
that my feet did not slip." (Psalm 18:36)

We could all state that we don't want to slip. And seeing this promise in God's Word helps us get an ever expanding view of just who this savior is! Wow, He enlarges our steps under us while we are in the very process of taking those steps just so we won't slip.

My hubby and I have often discussed this while hiking on a mountainside in that he wears an 11 EEEE shoe. He just can't grasp why I have a more difficult time staying connected to the mountain with my slim to narrow sized feet. Why I seem to slip and slide while he is trecking along like we were on flat and solid "terra firma". It is the feet buddy, at least our Lord graced me with a size TEN. Hum, something to be thankful for and this might be the very first time in my life I have been thankful for a ladies size TEN. GRIN

Thank you Lord, for BIG feet!

Jagged mountains
Cutting the horizon
Cold crystals caught
On all their pointy peaks
Alive azure skies
Broken only by
Wind waved bristlecone branches
As we hike higher and higher

Lord, Your hand
Is upon this wilderness
And resting on us
Your mightily blessed
May we never forget
What you have
Brought us from
And released us to.

And we praise You
As we lift Your name
Higher than jagged peaks
Up unto the heavens.
