From God’s Perspective Whether You Are Frantic or At Peace the Outcome is the Same

Imagine watching your child facing something stressful in his or her life. They have a choice to face it calmly or with wringing of their hands. You, their parent, are in charge of the details and making sure that everything comes out “OK”. What would you rather see? Your child without angst and trusting you to pull this off for them or your kid all tied in knots fretting, stressing and looking like a pretzel tied in knots.

I was thinking the above after my Lord Jesus whispered to the “ears” of my heart:

My little daughter, the confusion you see is of the enemy but I am working through it for your good.

Whether you’re frantic or at peace in me the outcome is the same.

So you can turn it loose to me. I have a plan for you birthed out of love.

Still yourself in Jesus and behold as it unfolds. Trust me.

Psalm 4:5
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD. (NKJV)

Psalm 18:2
The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. (NKJV)

Proverbs 3: 5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (NKJV)

You mean I really don’t have to get upset, stressed, jumping up and down like a little kid, I simply need to trust You? What a most freeing and incredible revelation!

PRAYER: Dear Jesus, please help me to be at peace in You. Looks like You are telling me that frantic wastes so much time and energy all for no good reason.  I do hear You now, help me to remember when I am in the thick of it next time. AMEN

REFRESH US

Quiet gray

Morning clouds dipping

Down

Coolness touching

Doe drinking bird bath

Streams dried

Refresh us

Our Jesus, raining down

Heaven’s revival

We thirst,

More of you our King

We pray

YESTERDAY

YESTERDAY

You celebrated your special date

Born eternally

Bright, new, clean in Jesus

42 years prior,

Yet only yesterday;

Washed in His blood

Given promise in the Word

Lifted out of sin's slime

To walk, run, skip

For the first eternal time

Hugged close, tossed toddler-like

Into clean, life-giving air

By the everlasting arms of God.

Strength never known

Windblown hair

Heir of salvation

Now walking in LIGHT.

Daughter of the Son

Removed from darkness

Taken from night

Into His presence

Lifted to eternal LIFE.

A most incredible book on end times (non-fiction) written by a dear friend of mine is ready for pre-order!
Stonebridge Publications is pleased to announce the pre-release sale of Dr. Cliff Kelly's highly anticipated work on the end times!

Click on the link below to order The Sixth Seal at the sale price of $9.99 for delivery by Christmas!

Read what others are already saying!

“Cliff Kelly’s Sixth Seal is the easiest to understand and most plausible explanation of Biblical eschatology that I have ever read or heard.  Those who are just beginning to study this most difficult finale of Scripture will appreciate a clear foundation with which to compare other interpretations.  And those who are familiar with eschatology should find plenty to consider.  Cliff’s vivid writing style, references and quotes from extensive reading supplement this fascinating subject.  Perhaps God made such a terrifying series of events intriguing so that we would study it, and be more prepared for what God warns us is going to happen.” – Dr. Pamela Jason, professor of political science

“Dr. Cliff Kelly’s new book The Sixth Seal represents the culmination of more than 35 years of diligent study. This slim volume is not a dry academic tome but rather a passionate labor of love cast in a lyrical style rich with poetic references and literary allusion. This conversational narrative is also a valuable repository of expert resources relevant to the state of contemporary culture and spirituality at the beginning of the 21st Century. Dr. Kelly’s avowed central focus is on rightly interpreting the Book of Revelation, a formidable task that has challenged many able scholars over the course of two millennia. The arguments advanced are rooted solidly in the Biblical text and in the linguistic origins of key words. The Sixth Seal is a timely work and an important commentary on End Times events.” – John ‘Cadillac Dave’ Wheeler, author and journalist

Come Before God With Thanksgiving and Praise

Does it comfort you that God knows you better than anyone? He knows us even better than we know ourselves. He made us, thought us up and loved all that made us uniquely ourselves before we were ever conceived. We have so much to be thankful for especially during this time we traditionally set aside for thankfulness. There is so much good to reflect upon as the day we remember comes closer.
He knows me, and I share that with my readers in writing what the Lord laid on my heart:
My child, impetuous tempest that you sometimes are, tarry. Listen to Me. Seek my wisdom in the Word. Come before me with thanksgiving and praise.

One of the most important things we can do is to seek God’s wisdom. Let’s take a look at some scriptures which speak about praise and thanksgiving. I have listed but a few as the bible is full of them.
Psalm 71:6 By You I have been upheld from birth; You are He who took me out of my mother’s womb. My praise shall be continually of You.
DIGGING DEEPER
Let’s look at some more scriptures. Please write what the Holy Spirit is saying to you, personally, this day.
Luke 24:49

Psalm 26:7

Psalm 69:30

I Chronicles 29:13

My Commitment:

Prayer: We lift our voices and our hearts to You, Lord of Lords and King of Kings! We especially thank you during this Thanksgiving season in our lives, for your provision and for the journey that you are leading us through.  In the name of Jesus, AMEN

FRUIT INSPECTOR Issues

"Fruit inspector" scriptures

God  have given us guidelines on being "fruit inspectors" in His word. This is not an exhaustive list but a beginning. So many now, seem to yell "you're judging me" or "don't judge them..." but there are verses which address what we are supposed to do as believers. Hope to write a much needed and more in depth article on this topic soon. Marijo

Consider this exhortation in I Corinthians 5:9-13:

I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people—

not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat. What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?

God will judge those outside. "Expel the wicked man from among you" (NIV).

Here Paul instructs the Corinthians to judge those within the church. They must also judge those who are not in the church in the sense of evaluation, or otherwise how would we know that they are immoral, greedy, etc.? There can actually be no true relationships without judgment that is evaluation. We are judging others all of the time whether we realize it or call it that or not. What we must learn to do is judge righteously, or rightly. This begins with not trying to assume things we really don’t know about the motives of others. It also applies to judging those who are within our sphere of authority, as Paul is pointing out to the Corinthians in the text above.

Matthew 7:14-16

New King James Version (NKJV)

14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

You Will Know Them by Their Fruits

15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?

If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear.

1 Corinthians 6:3-12

New King James Version (NKJV)

Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life? If then you have judgments concerning things pertaining to this life, do you appoint those who are least esteemed by the church to judge? I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren? But brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers!

Now therefore, it is already an utter failure for you that you go to law against one another. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do you not rather let yourselves be cheated? No, you yourselves do wrong and cheat, and you do these things to your brethren! Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals,[a] nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

Glorify God in Body and Spirit

12 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

James 5:19-20New King James Version (NKJV)

Bring Back the Erring One

19 Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, 20 let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul[a] from death and cover a multitude of sins.

Corinthians 5:12-13New King James Version (NKJV)

12 For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? 13 But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.”

Just some quick thoughts on being a fruit inspector from God's Word.

Word from the Lord 9-21-16

9-21-16

Storm clouds in your sky - they come from the Sky Painter also. And then His rainbows of promise. Windy. Times changing SO fast. Keep looking UP - your redemption is coming. He is riding on the clouds with power and might. Only Jesus can come like that to you, to His Body, to His Bride. Weather is just that - weather. Jesus IS in control. HE delights in you. HE gives. HE loves. HE is your provision through it all. Mighty warrior. Coming KING. Sitting at the right hand of God. "Sitting" no longer but in serious preparation for you, His Bride. Let His light shine in and through you, His Body here on earth. Signs in His skies. Signs for your encouragement - signs so you will KNOW. His own are not kept in the dark. His own are given much - to His deligh,t His hand is open. Draw neigh. Press in. LISTEN. "This is the way, walk therein, go to the left, go to the right..." will become ever so much more important as the days of uncertainty grow full.  (Isaiah 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.)

Fear not in this hour but lean on His everlasting arms - he will carry you, when necessary. LISTEN to the voice of His Spirit from whence comes encouragement, instruction, wisdom, words for edification and LIFE. KNOW your Lord. He desires depth in your walk and communication and intimacy with Him. HE has gone before you to prepare the way. WALK there in. Do not run, this is a step by step journey in Jesus. Allow Him to impart His love and heart's desires to you, His child. Shrink not back but WALK. Time is so short. I AM with you to the very end of the age. Time is so short. I COME. I AM with you in a most mighty and secure way. I AM yours and you, child, you are Mine. Selah. (why always selah? Because you need to walk and ponder... pause and think calmly on that.) AMEN

Touched by GOD!!!

I was up early - there was fog at the base of Pike's Peak and incredible clouds above the, once again, snow covered peak... I jumped into a velour jogging suit, grabbed the camera and went outside to capture the Sky Painter's handiwork. Went far enough (mostly) to get beyond the electric wires! We had almost 3/4 inches of wonderful rain last night. PRAISING HIM!!! (photos in reverse order)
