Touched by GOD!!!

I was up early - there was fog at the base of Pike's Peak and incredible clouds above the, once again, snow covered peak... I jumped into a velour jogging suit, grabbed the camera and went outside to capture the Sky Painter's handiwork. Went far enough (mostly) to get beyond the electric wires! We had almost 3/4 inches of wonderful rain last night. PRAISING HIM!!! (photos in reverse order)

BUT You Are JUDGING Them!

"Fruit inspector" scriptures
God have given us guidelines on being "fruit inspectors" in His word. This is not an exhaustive list but a beginning. So many now, seem to yell "you're judging me" or "don't judge them..." but there are verses which address what we are supposed to do as believers. Hope to write a much needed and more in depth article on this topic soon. Marijo
Consider this exhortation in I Corinthians 5:9-13:
I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people—
not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world.
But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.
What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?
God will judge those outside. "Expel the wicked man from among you" (NIV).
Here Paul instructs the Corinthians to judge those within the church. They must also judge those who are not in the church in the sense of evaluation, or otherwise how would we know that they are immoral, greedy, etc.? There can actually be no true relationships without judgment that is evaluation. We are judging others all of the time whether we realize it or call it that or not. What we must learn to do is judge righteously, or rightly. This begins with not trying to assume things we really don’t know about the motives of others. It also applies to judging those who are within our sphere of authority, as Paul is pointing out to the Corinthians in the text above.
Matthew 7:14-16
New King James Version (NKJV)
14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
You Will Know Them by Their Fruits
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?
Psalm 66:18
If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear.
1 Corinthians 6:3-12
New King James Version (NKJV)
3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life? 4 If then you have judgments concerning things pertaining to this life, do you appoint those who are least esteemed by the church to judge? 5 I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren? 6 But brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers!
7 Now therefore, it is already an utter failure for you that you go to law against one another. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do you not rather let yourselves be cheated? 8 No, you yourselves do wrong and cheat, and you do these things to your brethren! 9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals,[a] nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
Glorify God in Body and Spirit
12 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
James 5:19-20New King James Version (NKJV)
Bring Back the Erring One
19 Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, 20 let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul[a] from death and cover a multitude of sins.
Corinthians 5:12-13New King James Version (NKJV)
12 For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? 13 But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.”
Just some quick thoughts on being a fruit inspector from God's Word.

BORN TO BLOOM

Born to Bloom

God handed me a package

Wrapped carefully in His love.

I gently removed the wrapping

And saw a mass of roots

With tiny green plant above.

"What am I to do with this.

It has no soil or earth?"

And the Lord replied

"It's a plant of faith

Which grows in your new birth."

"If those roots grow deep in me

They might break me all apart."

With loving gentleness

He softly replied,

"Yea, even your stony heart."

"You mean I must let go

Of that which is me,

And let the roots go

Deep within

To make a place for Thee?"

"Allow Me to work in you

And soon you will find

My gift of roots

Will help you grow

In body and soul, Mine."

"Well, Lord, I guess You know

Being the greatest gardener of all

That Your roots don't grow

In stony hearts

But in fertile, well tilled soil."

"Lord, do with me what You will

Use me as Thine own,

Break my rocky heart,

Into thy Holy Spirit's

Permanent, Lifelong home.

"Jesus I thank and praise You,

For this massive bunch of root,

That will break me

Into fertile soil

To be used to produce Your fruit."

Jeremiah 17:7-8 Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.

A Prophetic Word (word from the Lord Series) Listening to Your Lord

Listening to Your LORD

Child, you are Mine - I love you with a never ending - inexhaustible love...  that means My patience, My concern for your very best interest, My energies, YOU are my focus and joy. Yes, YOU bring joy to the heart of the Father - not just when you shine, but also when you tumble and skin your knees, as it were. You are my delight as you grow up to become more and more like my SON. Fret not nor worry but simply put one foot in front of the other following Him, your Big Brother - go forward in Jesus. He will carry you when you can no longer walk - HE is your provider, HE is your healer, HE is the one who FORGIVES. HE is freedom for you from all that is dark around you or that you have pursued in your past... You simply cannot out-give or our bless what Jesus has in store for you. Obedience is the best give you can give and the most freeing pathway to walk in. Pursue holiness - HE walks in front of you showing His way. Enjoy the blessings - the people I have placed in your pathway. Enjoy the sunsets - look to your God - look deeply into His eyes - His eyes are upon you each minute of His day - this IS His day - please take time to rejoice and be glad in it - His joy truly is your strength... You truly are never, ever alone. Do not take side paths but follow, follow after your Jesus. AMEN
